The Dow Jones Global Ex-Australia Select Real Estate Securities Index (RESI) seeks to track the performance of equity real estate investment trusts (REITs) and real estate operating companies (REOCs) traded globally, excluding Australian-domiciled companies. The index is designed to serve as a proxy for direct real estate investment, in part by excluding companies whose performance may be driven by factors other than the value of real estate.
