Appleton North 15, Fond du Lac 8
FOND DU LAC – Darcel Wilson scored from 10 yards out early in the second quarter to break a tie and the defense took over from there as the Lightning held off the Cardinals for the Fox Valley Association win.
Mason Henschel opened the scoring with an 18-yard touchdown reception from De’Andre Williamson Jr. to give Fond du Lac a 6-0 lead midway through the first quarter.
The Cardinals tacked on a safety a couple minutes later for an 8-0 edge.
On the next drive, North evened the score when Keegan Muchow caught a 12-yard touchdown pass from Grant Hardy. Wilson then added the conversion run.
Wilson led the ground attack for the Lightning with 14 carries for 63 yards, while Hardy completed 7 of 15 passes for 88 yards.

APPLETON – The Rockets outscored the Patriots 29-0 in the second quarter to take a commanding halftime lead in the Fox Valley Association victory.
Ashton VanBeek threw three touchdown passes and had two rushing touchdowns for the Rockets. Dylan Foat caught two TD passes – 14 yards for the first score of the game and 44 yards in the second quarter.
Appleton East got two kickoff return touchdowns from Adrian Scaife. He had an 87-yard kickoff return for a score in the first quarter and an 80-yard return for a touchdown in the third quarter.
Neenah improves to 2-1 overall, while Appleton East falls to 1-2.

OSHKOSH – Kegan Pleau rushed for two touchdowns and Cam Wong threw for three others as the Papermakers built a 24-0 halftime advantage en route to the Fox Valley Association win.
Kimberly rolled up 354 total yards of offense, while limiting West to 111.

KAUKAUNA – The Ghosts picked up their first win of the season with the victory over the Polar Bears.
Ryan Carrel led Kaukauna with 95 yards rushing on nine carries and had 165 yards passing. He completed 13-of-21 passes.
Bennett Geitner caught two passes for 62 yards for Kaukauna, which is 1-2 overall and 1-0 in the FVA.
Hortonville is 0-3 overall and 0-1 in the FVA.

OSHKOSH – The Papermakers opened Fox Valley Association play with a 25-8, 25-17, 25-12 victory over the Spartans.
Harper Van Lannen led Kimberly with seven kills. Natalie Weyenberg had six kills and Bri Hagglund had five kills. Finley Van Lannen added 16 digs, while Emma Tesch had 16 assists and Ava Van Hammond had nine assists.
Xavier 3, New London 0
APPLETON – The second-ranked Hawks moved to 10-2 on the season with a 25-7, 25-4, 25-10 win over the Bulldogs.
Leading the Xavier attack were Sydney Neilitz with 15 assists and five aces, Lily Renz with three aces and five digs, Grace Hackl with 10 digs and two aces, Rose Kendall with four kills, and Bella Daley with seven kills. Braelee Kiepert added five kills, and Hope Kaufman had six aces and six digs.
Fox Valley Lutheran 3, Bay Port 0
APPLETON – The Foxes defeated the Pirates 25-23, 25-16, 25-21 in a nonconference match.
Fox Valley Lutheran was led by Kenzie Loberger with 21 assists and 14 digs. Riley Schmitz had 20 digs. Alaina Patchett had a team-high 12 kills, and Sammie Thomas added 12 digs. Amara Jahner had six aces for FVL.
Meghan Bruss had 17 assists for Bay Port. Taylor Russell had 12 digs. Taylor Neuenschwander and Lillie Nowak had six and five kills, respectively.
Luxemburg-Casco 3, Wrightstown 0
WRIGHTSTOWN – The Spartans won the North Eastern Conference opener with a 25-9, 25-21, 25-19 triumph over the Tigers.
Leading Luxemburg-Casco were Alayna Deprez with 29 assists and five digs, Aubrey Frey with 21 kills and seven digs, M.J. Olson with five kills, Rylan Kaminski with 16 digs, and Danica Bartles with nine digs and five aces.
“It was a great way to start the conference season,” Spartans coach Jeff Frey said. “Winning on the road is always tough. I loved the fast start we got off to in set one. Credit Kristine (Pulka-Schuh) and her team. They came back fighting in the last two sets. We still have things to clean up, but I like direction we are headed in.”

FOX CROSSING – In Big East Conference play, the Zephyrs defeated the Wolves 25-13, 25-15, 25-15.
Leaders for the Zephyrs were Autumn Crowe with eight kills, Adele Brennan with six kills, Luci Nackers with five kills, Emmie Weiss with 13 assists and five aces, and Sammi Weiss with 12 assists.

KIMBERLY – Kimberly and Appleton East played to a draw in Fox Valley Association play.
“Kimberly created some opportunities, but Appleton East stayed strong,” Papermakers coach Carl Gardner said. “They came prepared to take the match to us and that is what they did.”
Luxemburg-Casco 3, Clintonville 0
CLINTONVILLE – Carson Hunsaker scored two goals and Grant Heurkens added another as the Spartans pulled away in the second half.
Carson Koller made two saves for Luxemburg-Casco, while Gavin Witt made two saves for Clintonville.
The win moves the Spartans to 2-2.

GREEN BAY – The Papermakers swept the Tritons 25-19, 25-23, 25-17 to improve to 2-0 in the Fox Valley Association.
Alex Krause had a team-high 11 kills as well as 13 digs for Kimberly. Blake Zielinski had 30 assists and 14 digs. Ian Van Hammond added eight digs and Wade Gloudemans had six kills.
